Salary: $156,750 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Execute the annual SOX 404 compliance program, including scoping, risk assessment, control documentation, testing, and remediation.
• Maintain and improve the ICFR framework in alignment with COSO 2013 and PCAOB standards.
• Lead the SOX steering committee and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline control documentation, issue tracking, and information synthesis.
• Oversee SOX integration for newly acquired entities and manage IT general control scoping across financial systems.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of SOX compliance professionals and manage third-party co-source arrangements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal audit, SOX compliance, or external audit.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• CPA certification is required.
• Deep expertise in SOX 404 program management and strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience at a publicly traded company navigating integrated audits with Big 4 auditors.
• Must be based in the USA (specifically within the 34 states where hirify.global is registered to hire).

Nice to have

• Experience with technology, SaaS, or marketplace business models.
• Proficiency with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Experience leading SOX integration workstreams for acquisitions.
