Salary: $140,000 — $160,000 USD (Annual Base)

What you will do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for OTC and BVI entities ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, cost allocations, and sub-consolidation workpapers across the group.
• Maintain books and records for BVI holding entities, collaborating with offshore legal counsel and registered agents.
• Implement GAAP guidelines for digital assets (ASC 820, ASU 2023-08) and reconcile on-chain/off-chain positions.
• Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and board/investor reporting packages.
• Develop internal control environments and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.

Requirements

• CPA (active) required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services, asset management, or trading.
• Strong technical US GAAP proficiency, including consolidation and equity method accounting.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities, including non-US or offshore structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in New York (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with BVI or Cayman offshore entity governance.
• Familiarity with ASU 2023-08 and crypto asset accounting.
• Proficiency with Python or data analysis tools for automation.
• Background in prime brokerage, OTC derivatives, or Big 4 accounting.
