Director, Digital Assets FinOps

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $161,500–$218,500/year base compensation, plus a 25% annual bonus target and company equity in RSUs.

What you will do

• Own daily digital asset financial operations, including wallet and custody administration, transaction execution, approvals, settlement, and position monitoring.
• Manage end-to-end reconciliation from on-chain data through sub-ledgers and the general ledger, resolving exchange and custodian breaks.
• Define operational, accounting, and control requirements for new products and token launches.
• Partner with Accounting on digital asset close activities, fair value measurement, cost basis, and financial statement disclosures.
• Design and operate the digital asset control framework, including SOX controls, segregation of duties, and approval thresholds.
• Build scalable reconciliation, reporting, and control automation with Engineering and Product, and provide position, flow, and exposure reporting to management, the board, and auditors.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in financial operations, treasury, accounting, controllership, or investment banking, including 2–3 years in digital assets.
• Strong accounting foundation and command of financial statements.
• Experience with digital asset custody, wallets, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of digital asset accounting under U.S. GAAP, including fair value measurement and disclosures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive audiences.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with lending, fintech, blockchain, stablecoins, or tokenized assets.
• Prior public company experience.
• Experience designing and operating SOX control environments.
