Focus on solving hard technical problems, building internal AI workflows, and improving engineering quality, reliability, and maintainability.

is building an AI-driven consumer platform for creating, remixing, sharing, and playing interactive mini-app content.
What you will do
- Lead technical execution across backend, frontend, mobile, AI, and data initiatives.
- Translate ambiguous product goals into technical plans, milestones, ownership, and trade-offs.
- Resolve complex engineering problems and remove cross-domain execution blockers.
- Partner with founders, product, design, and engineering on technical decisions.
- Improve engineering quality, delivery speed, reliability, and maintainability.
- Define hiring needs, interview criteria, technical evaluation standards, and internal AI workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience leading large-scope technical work across multiple engineers, teams, or product areas.
- Experience as a Technical Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, Head of Engineering, CTO, Staff Engineer, or hands-on Engineering Manager.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, technical judgment across multiple domains, and familiarity with AI tools.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity, create executable plans, and communicate effectively with founders, product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Startup-level ownership, urgency, and willingness to work hands-on in technical details.
Nice to have
- Experience with agentic AI systems, LLM workflows, AI agents, or AI-assisted product creation.
- Experience with machine learning, recommendation systems, ranking, experimentation, or data pipelines.
- Experience building consumer, mobile, social, creator, or developer products.
- Experience at a VC-backed startup or high-growth technology company.
- Experience hiring, interviewing, or defining technical standards for engineering roles.
