What you will do
- Design, implement, test, and enhance backend components of the trading platform and Data Platform.
- Build new Golang services for critical product and business needs.
- Implement and optimize execution and algorithmic trading strategies.
- Develop features supporting customer collaboration in asset management.
- Monitor and support trading algorithms, exchange connectivity, analytics, and market data systems.
- Improve the platform for low-latency and high-frequency trading while maintaining strong regression testing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a backend engineering role.
- Golang experience or proficiency in C#, C++, or Java, with strong object-oriented or functional design skills.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, high-performance development, and large-scale concurrent distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures, messaging technologies such as NATS or Aeron, and PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, serverless architecture, BigQuery, CI/CD, version control, and POSIX-oriented environments.
- Knowledge of financial market data, order pricing, smart order routing, execution algorithms, Transaction Cost Analysis, or the FIX protocol.
Nice to have
- Direct experience developing and supporting trading systems.
- Understanding of financial markets, crypto markets, and digital asset products.
- Experience using AI assistants such as Claude to augment software development.
