Backend Engineer (SDE 2) (Golang)

What you will do

• Independently scope, plan, design, develop, test, roll out, and maintain large-size projects.
• Write clean, modular, well-tested Go code and review code from junior engineers.
• Design reliable, loosely coupled, and extensible distributed services while evaluating technical trade-offs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for owned services and products.
• Lead cross-team collaboration and support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Improve service and code quality through established practices and new initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, including at least 2 years of recent active software development.
• Good understanding of Golang, including concurrency patterns and reusable Go components.
• Strong experience designing reliable and extensible distributed services.
• Knowledge of clean architecture, SOLID principles, event-driven architecture, and message brokers such as SQS or Kafka.
• Strong data modeling experience with relational databases, plus effective cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven approach, fast learning ability, and a focus on solving challenging problems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent education.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
