Senior Scientist – Quantum Control and Hardware (Singapore)

What you will do

• Design and implement quantum-computing products with product, engineering, design, and external partner teams.
• Solve scientific and technical problems and implement solutions in code for product and service integration.
• Develop quantum-control capabilities within the product framework.
• Mentor junior scientists and support their technical development.
• Document work, present results, and prepare reports, research papers, and technical documentation.
• Develop and protect intellectual property related to quantum hardware and software innovations.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Physics, a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of postdoctoral work or equivalent R&D experience at a comparable level.
• Experience with quantum hardware and modeling realistic quantum circuits.
• Programming experience with pulse-level languages and professional software development processes.
• Working knowledge of quantum computing and strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Programming experience with C, C++, and Python; Matlab is preferred.
