Senior Quantum R&D Engineer (Quantum Computing)

What you will do

• Design, model, and lay out large-scale superconducting quantum processor architectures.
• Create custom test vehicles and prototypes for inter-qubit couplers, readout architectures, and other quantum device components.
• Design and perform cryogenic measurements to validate device performance and guide iterations.
• Own the full development cycle from concept and simulation through experiment, data analysis, and design refinement.
• Automate design, simulation, and measurement workflows with code.
• Collaborate with design, measurement, and fabrication teams to accelerate design-to-test cycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in multi-qubit superconducting quantum device development.
• Deep understanding of cQED, quantum microwave circuits, and superconducting qubits.
• Extensive experience designing and performing cryogenic measurements of superconducting qubit circuits.
• Proficiency in Python and software tools for quantum design and experiments, such as HFSS, Comsol, pyEPR, scqubits, Quantum Metal, or KLayout.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong drive to scale quantum technology.
• Collaborative working style and readiness to take ownership of device and component development.
