Shift Manager (Ecommerce Logistics)

Location: Northampton, UK. Workplace: On-site.

What you will do

• Manage the full UK warehouse site, including goods receipt schedules and processing volumes.
• Own site budgeting and P&L responsibilities while building an efficient full-time employee team.
• Work with resource suppliers to flex staffing in line with business demand and seasonal volumes.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
• Source and manage consumable suppliers and negotiate costs.
• Set service-level agreements, track KPIs, and coordinate forecasted volumes and shipping priorities with Merchandise Planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management, including full-site P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems, logistics software, and warehouse best practices.
• Strong understanding of and background in Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Effective communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Fluent English.
