Ocean Import Supervisor

What you will do

• Develop the ocean import product across operations, finances, sales, people, systems, and culture.
• Ensure customer standard operating procedures, compliance requirements, and company policies are followed.
• Review and support quotations, business transitions, workload planning, huddles, and monthly team meetings.
• Improve department process flows, efficiency, customer service, systems, and operational metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, customers, and other vendors.
• Support revenue growth, financial performance, employee onboarding, feedback, goal setting, training, and development plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hirify.global or ocean import experience.
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service, execute quality work, meet deadlines, collaborate, communicate professionally, and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to complete at least 52 hours of relevant training per year and participate in professional development.
