Strategic Supply Chain Manager (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of resilient, scalable TWS-UK supply chains, including redundancy and cross-functional capabilities.
• Own the strategic sourcing lifecycle: develop sourcing strategies, identify and evaluate suppliers, analyze spend and markets, run RFQs, and negotiate long-term agreements covering pricing, terms, delivery, and quality.
• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, supplier engagement sessions, supply channels, KPIs, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Provide supply chain insights and recommendations to senior leadership while influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning requirements.
• Conduct global supplier research and assess capability, risk, cost structure, service models, sustainability, diversity, and total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and corrective actions while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, production engineering, or project management; operations experience is preferred within this requirement.
• Strong negotiation skills and working knowledge of procurement and contractual law.
• Excellent understanding of contractual requirements, business systems, and supply chain processes.
• Determination, resilience, and the ability to establish a new function aligned with business-unit requirements.
• Innovation or early-stage business creation experience, with the ability to turn basic requirements into a strategic vision and adapt rapidly as business intelligence develops.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain.
• Master’s degree in business or a related field.
• Experience creating a new business supply chain for complex mechanical, electronic, and software components.
