Senior Planner (Retail)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Annual compensation: $81,000–$120,000, based on the Los Angeles geographic area and adjusted according to skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Develop preseason sales, margin, and inventory plans by channel, category, style, and color.
• Forecast sales volumes for existing and upcoming products to support replenishment and new launch purchasing.
• Improve inventory models, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
• Partner with merchandising to recommend style and color counts and product flow.
• Manage in-season open-to-buy forecasts for sales and inventory against financial goals and KPI targets.
• Generate SKU-level purchase orders and coordinate inventory flows with production and logistics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in merchandise or inventory planning, allocation, finance, or business analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with inventory planning concepts and theory.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of products and trends in a retail business.
• Ability to communicate clearly across merchandising, production, and logistics.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and new processes.
