Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Salary: $164,000–$205,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for significant product areas from exploration through launch and iteration.
• Design clear, approachable experiences for complex financial workflows across cash management, financial wellness, and transaction-related tools.
• Set a high bar for interaction design, visual design, usability, and overall product quality.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and make tradeoffs.
• Use research, data, business context, and design judgment to guide product decisions.
• Contribute to design critique, collaboration, mentorship, UI patterns, and design systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products in fintech, financial services, commerce, transportation, or another multi-stakeholder environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking together with polished visual and UI execution.
• Strong interaction-design fundamentals and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience owning ambiguous product areas and working closely with product management and engineering.
• Strong communication, storytelling, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Practical familiarity with AI tools and their application to product-design work.

Nice to have

• Experience designing consumer financial products such as banking, budgeting, payments, cash management, or financial-wellness tools.
• Experience contributing to or evolving a design system.
• Experience working in a product organization undergoing changes to its teams, processes, or strategy.
