Production and Test Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Must be located near Denver, Colorado; hybrid work with some onsite work required.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain detailed production and test schedules at work-order and task level using MRP, PLM, and MES systems.
• Coordinate daily and weekly sequencing with production technicians, test engineers, and manufacturing engineers.
• Track work orders, schedule slips, resource conflicts, risks, and critical-path items.
• Translate detailed production schedules into program-level milestones for the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Analyze capacity, staffing, equipment, facility constraints, and test-stand reservations, including TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC, and FlatSat facilities.
• Generate schedule metrics and reports, support production meetings, coordinate materials and tooling availability, and drive scheduling improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination in manufacturing or aerospace environments.
• Proficiency with MRP, PLM, or MES systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Arena, Dassault, or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and critical-path analysis, with experience coordinating multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, space systems, or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and cycle-time reduction.
• Experience with test-facility scheduling, Integrated Master Schedules, Gantt charts, PERT charts, or critical-path methodologies.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Python, or SQL for schedule analytics.
• Understanding of spacecraft assembly, integration, and test workflows, or an active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.
