What you will do

• Develop and release vehicle interior components and subsystems into production.
• Collaborate with attribute leads, engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Use CATIA V5/V6 to support packaging, integration, detailing, and production drawing releases.
• Support source selection and coordinate component specifications and delivery with the Global Supply Chain team and suppliers.
• Execute quality and robustness activities, including DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Support prototype and production builds by validating fit and function and resolving integration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, an equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of automotive engineering experience involving the design and release of interior systems.
• Experience with CAD design tools and processes, including production drawing releases.
• Experience with vehicle interior components such as instrument panels, hard and soft moldings, seating, or interior lighting.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Experience working with industrial design on concept feasibility.
• Successful delivery of products from concept through launch.
• Experience working with rapid development cycles and experimental hardware.
• Strong creative and critical thinking, organization, and interpersonal skills.
