Founding AI Solutions Engineer

Location: Must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate to the United States; hybrid work with on-site attendance at the South Bay office a few days per week.

Salary: $170,000–$250,000+ base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with GTM leads on technical discovery, solution design, proof-of-concepts, and deal execution.
• Build prototypes and reference integrations using TTS, STT, LLM Router, LLM inference, and Realtime API solutions.
• Advise customers during onboarding and guide integrations from signed contract to production.
• Answer technical questions about latency, deployment models, streaming architecture, and model selection.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.
• Develop integration examples, demo environments, technical collateral, and the early technical sales process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager.
• Production-quality coding ability, with strong Python skills preferred; JavaScript or TypeScript experience is a plus.
• Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs, LLMs, speech models, and streaming APIs.
• Experience running technical POCs end-to-end and driving them to a decision.
• Strong communication skills for bridging technical and business discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with voice AI, TTS, STT, realtime audio, or speech systems.
• Background in gaming, CCaaS, media, or entertainment.
• Experience with on-premise or edge deployment, containerization, model serving, or quantization.
• Experience with WebSocket, WebRTC, or realtime streaming infrastructure.
• Startup, founder, operator, or modern GTM tooling experience.
