Associate Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work environment

Salary: USD 90,000–118,000 per year, plus an annual bonus or role-based uncapped sales incentive

What you will do

• Design and implement LLM-based agents that synthesize information and automate business workflows.
• Apply NLP and generative AI techniques to structured and unstructured data.
• Design, test, and optimize prompts, retrieval strategies, and agent workflows.
• Build recommendation solutions for prospect interest prediction and personalized outreach.
• Prototype AI capabilities, evaluate business impact, and transition successful pilots into production.
• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers to create scalable solutions.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, mathematics, data science, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional, internship, or research experience applying data science and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and databases.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes and manage tasks end-to-end.
• Collaborative, inclusive, respectful, and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval techniques, model evaluation, or agent orchestration.
• Strong interest in generative AI, machine learning, and agentic systems.
