Senior AI & Data Scientist

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office in the United States; salary information is specified for Massachusetts

Salary: USD 120,000–228,000 annual base salary in Massachusetts. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions that improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
• Build predictive models for sales forecasting, pipeline health, lead scoring, opportunity prioritization, territory planning, and customer segmentation.
• Develop AI-powered copilots, intelligent assistants, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions for seller productivity.
• Analyze CRM, customer, sales, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and IT leaders to identify high-value use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
• Build production-ready models, MLOps processes, dashboards, and executive reporting while monitoring reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, including enterprise-scale AI deployments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, and generative AI frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, sales analytics, enterprise data environments, cloud platforms, MLOps, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Sales, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations in an enterprise technology, networking, SaaS, or cloud organization.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline analytics, territory management, account planning, pricing, and sales performance metrics.
• Experience leading cross-functional AI initiatives and influencing executive stakeholders.
