Developer Advocate (Authorization)

Location: New York or remote in US time zones; hybrid work options are available.

Salary: $100,000–$200,000 per year plus equity.

hirify.global builds an authorization platform that helps engineering teams control access in their applications without developing authorization systems from scratch.

What you will do

• Educate developers on authorization concepts, approaches, and challenges.
• Promote hirify.global through demos, sample applications, blog posts, tutorials, videos, talks, meetups, conferences, and podcasts.
• Engage with users through channels such as Slack and help solve their authorization problems.
• Capture user feedback for the product roadmap and communicate roadmap progress back to the community.
• Acquire new users and create compelling reasons for developers to try hirify.global.
• Grow community engagement programs and relationships with hirify.global users.

Requirements

• Professional development experience in more than one programming language.
• Ability to create clear and creative technical writing, supported by long-form writing samples.
• Experience working at a startup or in a similar environment.
• Track record of delivering technical talks at conferences, meetups, hackathons, or similar events.
• Strong ownership, feedback, experimentation, and user-focused problem-solving skills.
