Product-Minded Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 per year, based on location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Build and ship polished user-facing features across web, iOS, and Android.
• Develop modern interfaces with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Redux Toolkit or RTK Query/SWR, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and maintain native iOS features using Swift and native Android features using Kotlin.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, deep links, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and media-heavy interfaces.
• Debug real-device issues involving gestures, WebViews, video playback, performance, memory, and responsive layouts.
• Collaborate with product and design to turn rough requirements and user feedback into measured product improvements.

Requirements

• Mid-to-senior product-minded engineering experience focused on polished user experiences.
• Strong UI/UX design skills and a strong eye for interaction details.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Redux Toolkit or RTK Query/SWR, and Tailwind CSS.
• Native iOS experience with Swift, UIKit, Xcode, Swift Package Manager, Interface Builder, and app or extension targets.
• Native Android experience with Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle, AndroidX, Fragments/ViewModels, XML/data binding, and Material components.
• Experience with asynchronous or reactive code such as RxSwift or RxJava, plus current AI development tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, or Antigravity.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer social, content discovery, feeds, recommendations, sharing, or creator and community products.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Segment, Branch, Sentry, Crashlytics, Airbrake, or similar analytics and observability tools.
• Experience with Retrofit/OkHttp/Moshi, Alamofire, Kingfisher, Glide/Coil, protobuf, and service-worker or web tracking flows.
• App Store or Play Store releases, Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Docker, or production deployment workflows.
• Experience improving older native codebases and writing maintainable code with appropriate tests.
