Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $160K–$300K plus equity

What you will do

• Collaborate with the CTO and CEO on strategic technical decisions and product direction.
• Design, develop, and optimize frontend interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Build responsive components integrated with backend services and APIs.
• Implement real-time data visualization and interactive product experiences.
• Lead frontend projects from conception through production deployment, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Gather user feedback and improve the product’s UI/UX.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade frontend systems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience building scalable, responsive web applications.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time data visualization, WebRTC, or frontend performance optimization.
