Head of Talent

Location: On-site in the Union Square, New York City office

Salary: $250,000–$375,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end talent function, including sourcing pipelines, interview processes, and offer strategy.
• Build recruiting systems, dashboards, and forecasting processes covering pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire.
• Partner with founders and functional leaders on headcount plans, role scorecards, and interview loops.
• Establish structured scorecards, calibrated panels, and debrief practices to maintain hiring quality during rapid growth.
• Own employer brand and top-of-funnel candidate experience across job descriptions, careers content, referrals, and sourcing.
• Build recruiting infrastructure for global expansion, lead the talent team, and personally source and close priority hires.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling a talent function at a high-growth startup, ideally during a period of rapid headcount growth.
• Strong systems and data orientation, including experience with hiring pipelines, funnels, conversion rates, and forecasting.
• Fluency with modern recruiting and HR tools, including ATS, HRIS, and sourcing platforms.
• Ability to operate with high agency in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Direct communication style, strong attention to detail, and commitment to high-performance, merit-driven cultures.
