Strategic Finance Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid schedule with office attendance three times per week in San Francisco or Rohnert Park, California

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 yearly base compensation, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Own key components of integrated financial models, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Translate commercial, operational, headcount, vendor, and project inputs into accurate financial outputs.
• Build scenario and sensitivity models to evaluate operating alternatives and market dynamics.
• Analyze pricing structures, contract frameworks, customer valuations, and unit economics.
• Support cost allocation, department budgeting, variance reviews, and resource optimization across R&D, Sales, and G&A.
• Use AI tools and LLMs for financial analysis, data synthesis, reporting, and presentation development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in finance, strategic planning, financial analysis, or related roles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modeling, valuation models, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and communicating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort using AI tools and LLMs for problem-solving in finance.

• Experience in medical devices, biopharma, or healthcare technology.
