Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (Fintech)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Compensation: $175,000–$225,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Own the design, development, maintenance, and narrative behind hirify.global's corporate financial model and consolidated forecast.
• Run monthly reporting, planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, turning performance changes into actionable recommendations.
• Build complex financial models for strategic decisions, pricing, investment choices, and ROI analysis.
• Own board and investor materials, anticipating questions about performance, risk, growth, and business metrics.
• Partner with Commercial, Risk, Growth, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Data teams on planning, reporting accuracy, cash flow, funding, and investment decisions.
• Use BI tools and AI tooling such as Claude and Cursor to analyze imperfect datasets and automate financial processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience across private equity or investment banking and in-house FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, data analysis, and commercial judgment skills.
• Ability to translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and investor- or board-ready narratives.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Risk, Growth, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Data teams.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or a product-led company, including loan portfolio and cohort economics.
• Familiarity with unit economics, CAC/LTV, cohort retention, and recurring revenue frameworks.
• Experience supporting diligence or board processes.
• Experience embedding AI tools and automating data work in analytical workflows.
• Experience in a high-growth or early-stage company.
