Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

hirify.global is a European fintech providing B2B payment solutions through an API-first platform, embedded finance, and white-label credit card products.

What you will do

• Own infrastructure domains end to end, from design and implementation through operations, on-call support, and incident response.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules for AWS resources across development, staging, production, and PCI-scoped accounts using Spacelift.
• Operate GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for more than 20 Java and Kotlin microservices, including reusable workflows, matrix strategies, and caching.
• Develop Lambda-based operational tooling in Go and Python for metrics collection, secret rotation, IAM authentication, and event dispatching.
• Manage observability with Datadog monitors, dashboards, and SLOs, while maintaining IAM, KMS, and PCI DSS and SOC 2 security controls.
• Support the migration from ECS to Kubernetes and participate in the evolving on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform or infrastructure engineering experience, including production AWS environments at scale.
• Strong AWS knowledge covering VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Professional Terraform experience, including modules, state migrations, drift, broken remote states, and plan review.
• Production Kubernetes experience and CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions at scale.
• High Python proficiency and experience with Datadog or an equivalent observability platform.
• Experience with AWS IAM Roles Anywhere, certificate-based authentication, and AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Awareness of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Familiarity with Go and Kafka cluster operations.
