Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS)

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel — hybrid, within walking distance of both train stations

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Own and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines for speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS, including high availability and resource utilization.
• Build monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for platform health and incident response.
• Drive infrastructure security practices, including IAM, network security, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with software engineers on application performance, containerization, and database reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or data-heavy environment.
• Production experience with AWS services such as EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Working proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain infrastructure concepts to cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience owning complex infrastructure projects end-to-end and mentoring engineers.
• Advanced Terraform module design and experience with multiple CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with big data technologies or orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience in data tools or infrastructure-focused companies.
