Cloud Platform Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid workstyle with expected office attendance in alignment with organizational guidelines and team objectives; relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Architect and build robust, scalable, stable, and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
• Design infrastructure with regional-level AWS failure tolerance and zero-downtime patching and upgrades.
• Work with security engineers to provision secure cloud infrastructure for a fintech payment system.
• Automate AWS deployments and provide self-service resource deployment capabilities for developers.
• Manage infrastructure availability, performance, cost, and production change releases for business-critical systems.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of technical and architectural experience with AWS-based infrastructure platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS computing, networking, storage, analytics, and the latest AWS services.
• Experience with Terraform-based infrastructure as code and production infrastructure change management.
• Experience managing multi-account AWS organizations, including 50+ AWS accounts and 100+ users.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices in the fintech industry.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python, shell scripting, Go, and Rust; proficiency in either English or Japanese is required.

Nice to have

• AWS Professional or Specialty certification.
• Experience with PCI DSS, Kubernetes, GCP, Azure, or AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience contributing to open-source tools or publishing technical papers, blogs, or articles.
• Bilingual English and Japanese skills or JLPT Level 3 and above.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
