Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Architect and own complex enterprise AI agent deployments end to end, including integrations and production launches.
• Serve as the technical anchor for an FDE pod through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and escalation support.
• Build evaluation harnesses, deployment tooling, debugging infrastructure, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Translate deployment learnings into prototypes and concrete platform improvements with core engineering.
• Lead architecture discussions with customer engineering leaders and resolve production issues involving voice latency, telephony, integrations, and agent quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience with systems shipped and operated at scale.
• Expertise in Python, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with LLM agent systems, including orchestration, tool calling, evaluations, and context engineering.
• Ability to debug distributed systems under pressure and understand latency requirements for real-time voice applications.
• Ability to work with enterprise stakeholders, turn ambiguity into plans, and operate with limited guidance.

Nice to have

• Prior forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience at an AI or enterprise software company.
• Real-time voice or conversational AI experience.
• Early-stage startup experience.
