Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Boston or San Francisco (Berkeley), with two days per week in the office

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annual base salary, excluding benefits and equity

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales, customer success, product, engineering, and customers to design AI-driven solutions for specific business needs.
• Act as the technical expert during post-sales engagements through demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer consultations.
• Assess customer systems and workflows to identify integration points for AI solutions.
• Develop customized product configurations and prototypes, and provide technical guidance during implementation.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, support customer success, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
• Create integration guides, FAQs, best-practice documentation, and communicate customer feedback to product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or technical consulting, preferably in AI or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, Java, or similar programming languages, plus APIs, data integration, and cloud platforms.
• Strong background in software development, system integration, and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Experience with AI, machine learning, and data analytics in enterprise environments.
