Product Manager (Payments)

Location: Mexico; remote

Salary: MX$850K–MX$1.2M annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own and execute the global payments product roadmap across three brands.
• Define product strategy and requirements for payment methods, checkout experiences, and payment partnerships.
• Analyze payment performance and customer insights to improve conversion, authorization, payment acceptance, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.
• Define and optimize payment KPIs through data analysis and experimentation.
• Lead integrations with payment processors, gateways, fraud providers, and strategic payment partners.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Finance, Operations, and external providers on payment workflows, reporting, reconciliation, and delivery.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience, including payments, fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, travel, SaaS, or other transaction-based products.
• Understanding of payment ecosystems, including gateways, processors, payment methods, and operational workflows.
• Experience delivering customer-facing products with cross-functional teams and working directly with engineers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience writing product requirements, managing backlogs, and using data to prioritize decisions.
• Full proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Braintree, or similar payment providers.
• Familiarity with merchant payouts, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, and payment operations.
• Experience in multi-brand or multi-product environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for prototypes, automations, workflows, or product development.
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and technical product concepts.
