Senior Procurement Agent (Aerospace)

Salary: $126,400–$158,500 USD annually for California

What you will do

• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for direct materials across multiple programs.
• Manage procurement of EEE components, PCBs, PCBAs, turnkey builds, and discrete production parts using BOMs.
• Support new product introduction, cost savings, quality improvement, and on-time delivery initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks, develop contingency plans, and manage critical supplier scorecards and open orders.
• Negotiate pricing and terms, draft agreements, and conduct supplier and vendor site audits.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and improve processes, procedures, and work instructions.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement experience in aerospace, defense, or a related manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of PCB and PCBA sourcing, including turnkey solutions and component-level purchasing.
• Experience with supplier development and management, agreement drafting, CPSR compliance, and AS9100 standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate across organizational levels.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and/or permanent resident; future security clearance may be required, and ITAR eligibility applies.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing electro-mechanical, PCBA, and build-to-print assemblies through contract manufacturers.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Data analytics experience with BAQs, SQL, DMT, and query or script creation.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Deltek, or other ERP systems.
• Experience with supply chain trade compliance.
