Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Must be located in Austin, TX; onsite role.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive, and scalable web applications.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.
• Build and improve backend services, RESTful APIs, database integrations, and application features.
• Collaborate in small teams and work closely with senior engineers.
• Consult on feature requests, customer feedback, and future product development.

Requirements

• Must be located in Austin, TX.
• Dedicated, passionate, hard-working, and comfortable in an energetic environment.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Creative and efficient problem-solving ability.
• Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, testing, and software development practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with schema design, query optimization, ORMs, TDD, and unit testing.
