Talent Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in the Union Square, New York City office, United States

Salary: $130,000–$200,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build AI-powered sourcing pipelines across LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, and other candidate sources.
• Automate resume screening and skills matching against role-specific scorecards.
• Automate interview scheduling and candidate status communications.
• Develop recruiting analytics and reporting for hiring velocity, source quality, cost per hire, and time to fill.
• Build outbound recruiting systems and automatically generate candidate briefs before interviews.
• Manufacture tools that recruiters can operate independently as the function scales.

Requirements

• High-agency builder who treats recruiting as a systems and data problem.
• Technical fluency in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience building integrations across ATS platforms, job boards, calendar systems, and communication tools.
• AI-native approach to automation and experimentation in sourcing, screening, and candidate communication.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting workflows.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience building recruiting or HR technology, ideally at a company focused on tools in this space.
• Experience building a function from scratch in an ambiguous environment.
