Talent Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site. Visa sponsorship and a relocation stipend to San Francisco are available if needed.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the full recruiting function across technical and non-technical roles, defining processes and hiring standards.
• Partner with the founders on hiring strategy, role profiles, and talent-market intelligence.
• Build an employer brand and deliver a high-touch, transparent candidate experience.
• Track market insights, compensation benchmarks, and hiring analytics to improve recruiting decisions and processes.
• Develop proactive talent-engagement strategies, including events, curated dinners, and fellowship programs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in early-stage startups, frontier AI labs, or other high-bar environments.
• Experience recruiting across go-to-market, senior engineering, and operator roles, including candidates from consulting or venture capital backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain AI and the company mission clearly to researchers, engineers, operators, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume and complex senior searches while maintaining quality and candidate experience.
• Experience building recruiting functions and processes from the ground up in a fast-growing organization.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or relocate there.

• Experience with high-growth SaaS sales organizations, consulting, or international markets.
