Talent Strategy Lead

Location: In person in New York; all full-time roles are based in the New York office in SoHo.

Salary: $170,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Work with the CEO and company leaders to identify high-impact hires and priority talent markets.
• Develop views of exceptional performance across critical functions and improve talent evaluation methods.
• Build detailed maps of talent markets, companies, communities, and passive candidates.
• Design creative sourcing and engagement strategies using communities, events, referrals, research, content, competitions, and partnerships.
• Shape talent narratives that communicate hirify.global’s mission, operating environment, and opportunities to target markets.
• Create repeatable strategic recruiting playbooks for broader use across roles and talent markets.

Requirements

• Track record of high-quality work in a demanding, talent-dense environment as a founder, operator, investor, product manager, or in another high-performance role.
• Exceptional judgment about people and evidence of identifying, recruiting, backing, hiring, or selecting unusually strong individuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to understand and communicate what motivates candidates.
• Technical and analytical fluency sufficient to understand unfamiliar roles, evaluate evidence, work with data, and test new tools.
• High agency, creativity, speed, resourcefulness, and willingness to take unconventional approaches to achieve goals.
• Ability to work in person from the New York office.
