Senior Manager, Procurement

Location: Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $174,700–$217,500 USD annually for roles hired in California.

What you will do

• Define and execute procurement strategies across commercial and government supply bases.
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost-reduction initiatives, value engineering, and strategic sourcing agreements.
• Own material availability, capacity commitments, purchase orders, and supply assurance across production programs.
• Negotiate commercial terms covering pricing, lead times, capacity, intellectual property, warranties, indemnification, liability, and flow-down requirements.
• Develop supplier-health, risk, cost, and delivery reporting while supporting ERP stabilization and optimization.
• Lead and develop a procurement team expected to scale from approximately 3 to 10 employees within 12 months.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive management experience leading procurement or supply chain teams.
• Experience with complex supply bases supporting production or manufacturing operations in both commercial and regulated or government environments.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS, AS9100, CPSR readiness, and defense procurement frameworks.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, contract terms and conditions, vendor management, and procurement KPI improvement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, electronics, or complex hardware manufacturing.
• Experience scaling supply chains from prototype or low-rate production into high-volume manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience implementing or optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM or a similar ERP system.
