Indirect Commodity Manager

Location: Torrance, California, United States. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility for required U.S. Department of State authorizations is required under ITAR regulations.

Salary: $131K–$164K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies across indirect spend, including services, materials, capital equipment, facilities, construction, and real estate.
• Lead strategic sourcing from market assessment and supplier selection through contract negotiation and implementation.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, terms, conditions, and long-term supplier contracts with Legal.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Finance, and other functions on capital projects and operational needs.
• Build strategic supplier relationships through performance reviews, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend, supplier performance, and market intelligence to identify savings and total-cost-of-ownership opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management experience.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Demonstrated success managing indirect procurement categories.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing construction projects, CapEx, facilities services, or real estate agreements.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, CIPS, or equivalent.
