System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the UK or Europe; occasional travel to company offices is required.

hirify.global develops post-quantum cybersecurity technology and is expanding its server infrastructure, cyber resilience, and network security capabilities.

What you will do

• Manage physical development servers running Linux distributions, Xen Enterprise, and macOS.
• Develop a scalable server, network, and storage strategy with infrastructure and technical leadership.
• Install and manage industry-specific tooling and configure systems for jobs across a small computing cluster.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Support company-wide network infrastructure, IT security, supplier procurement, and technical IT queries.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 certification requirements.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration skills, including Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian-based distributions.
• Experience building Docker images and running associated CI jobs.
• Hands-on scripting, system configuration, and installation experience.
• Experience with network security, firewall configuration, and security policies.
• Strong documentation, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the UK or Europe and travel to company offices from time to time.

Nice to have

• Red Hat certification and experience with macOS or Windows Server.
• Experience with EDA software, self-hosted GitLab, Ansible, CLI workflows, or local tooling.
• Interest in cryptography.
