Product Manager (Payments)

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates working in the Eastern Time Zone

What you will do

• Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to plan, prototype, and deliver payment and workflow products.
• Own end-to-end payment experiences, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data across customer segments to shape the roadmap and product tradeoffs.
• Communicate product vision, priorities, project status, and post-launch performance to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Lead integrations with payment processors, gateways, banks, and financial partners, including ACH, card networks, and real-time payments.
• Define and optimize payment KPIs such as authorization rates, transaction costs, fraud losses, dispute rates, and time to settlement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience and/or experience working with technical teams.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills across projects of varying size and scope.
• Knowledge of banking integrations and payment processing, including ACH, NACHA processing, and multiple payment channels.
• Experience designing and delivering product integrations and working with APIs.
• Hands-on experience with payment platforms, processors, or financial infrastructure is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with payment lifecycles, reconciliation, dispute management, and transaction monitoring.
