Corporate Counsel, Construction & Infrastructure

Location: Remote within the United States; active membership in a state bar is required.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction, EPC, design, consultant, development, and owner’s representative agreements.
• Support power and energy procurement transactions, including PPAs, interconnection and transmission agreements, and equipment supply and generation agreements.
• Negotiate commercial agreements such as vendor and supplier agreements, master services agreements, confidentiality agreements, and letters of intent.
• Provide legal support for RFP processes, contract awards, supplier onboarding, and contract standardization.
• Advise stakeholders on risk allocation, payment structures, performance obligations, schedule risks, and practical solutions to legal issues.
• Monitor agreement compliance, resolve contract issues, and improve templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in construction law or infrastructure projects.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably including EPC, design, or energy-related agreements.
• Strong business judgment and ability to translate legal concepts into practical advice.
• Ability to prioritize multiple active projects, work independently, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Active membership in a state bar required.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
