Production Technician

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; on-site

Salary: CAD 55,000–75,000 per year

What you will do

• Operate production equipment according to established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, processing, collection, and packaging of product batches.
• Complete and report batch records accurately and on time.
• Support the preparation of procedures, protocols, and reports for new product batches.
• Identify and implement equipment or process changes that improve quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, and clean-workplace practices while supporting ongoing production projects.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated facilities.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices, pharmaceutical regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 8 kg independently.
• Ability to work on-site, all shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with extended hours as required.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom experience.
• Experience operating vacuum equipment.
