Production Sanitation Technician

Location: Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $17.10–$29.93 CAD per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

BIOVECTRA, part of hirify.global's Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships Division, develops and manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients and advanced therapeutics for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

What you will do

• Sanitize and clean industrial cleanroom areas, including ductwork, manufacturing equipment, floors, walls, and outdoor areas.
• Operate manual and automated production equipment and perform process sampling.
• Handle acids, bases, solvents, potent compounds, and active pharmaceutical ingredients safely.
• Support production technicians and supervisors with equipment training and manufacturing batch completion.
• Contribute to batch production records, work instructions, quality processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with housekeeping, equipment cleaning, warehousing, material staging, and tanker operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of experience; pharmaceutical or food manufacturing experience in an FDA-regulated environment is an asset.
• Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately weigh and measure chemical materials used in pharmaceutical production.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
• Personal protective equipment is required while performing duties.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary diploma in an applicable field.
• WHMIS certification and First Aid training.
• Good Manufacturing Practices experience.
