Head of Project Management (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York City, with remote work indicated

hirify.global is building an industrial electric grid for the United States using long-distance HVDC transmission and software-defined Macrogrids.

What you will do

• Deliver transmission development projects on time and within budget from groundbreaking through commissioning.
• Manage delivery of transmission hardware, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Lead project sites on the ground and coordinate contractors, utilities, and internal teams.
• Manage general contractors and EPCs across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Identify and resolve construction and delivery obstacles before they cause delays.

Requirements

• Significant prior experience constructing energy projects in the field.
• Track record of delivering complex energy projects while managing GCs and EPCs.
• Experience managing construction timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships across multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of grid interconnection, permitting, utility coordination, and delivery timelines.
• Experience in energy, power, utilities, or heavy industrial construction.
• Familiarity with high-voltage or long-distance transmission infrastructure deployment and EPC relationships, particularly in CA, NM, AZ, and TX.
