Senior Systems Engineer (Windows)

Location: Miami, United States; hybrid work with 3 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Own Windows software distribution and endpoint configuration as the subject matter expert.
• Architect and write infrastructure code for automated software packaging and signing workflows.
• Define platform best practices and provide technical leadership across engineering and product teams.
• Improve automation, testing, monitoring, and platform development through code contributions and reviews.
• Mentor colleagues through documentation, technical guidance, and direct support.
• Triage issues and implement solutions to maintain platform stability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in device management as a systems administrator, client platform engineer, or in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 endpoint management and hands-on experience with WiX, NuGet, NSIS, and MSIX Packaging Tool.
• Experience with Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, or ESXi, plus knowledge of WinGet, Chocolatey, and Scoop.
• Strong understanding of the Windows registry, Group Policy, ADMX, and 32-bit, 64-bit, and AArch64 software.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Batch, and Python, with experience building new features and proof of concepts.
• Working knowledge of JSON, YAML, XML, RESTful APIs, object storage, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps, version control, code reviews, and agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience managing macOS or Linux devices.
• Experience with Zsh, Bash, or AppleScript.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
