Senior IT Engineer

Location: Greater Seattle Area; on-site

hirify.global Corp. is building satellite infrastructure for on-orbit computing, energy transmission, and secure high-bandwidth optical data.

What you will do

• Manage and harden the Microsoft 365 GCC High environment, including identity, tenant configuration, and government-cloud compliance controls.
• Operate endpoint, identity, authentication, collaboration, VDI, directory, and SaaS systems across Windows, macOS, iOS, on-premises, and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain the network backbone for the office and lab, including addressing, segmentation, routing, firewalls, and VPN-based remote access.
• Provision secure cloud infrastructure as code and develop production-grade automation for onboarding, patching, remediation, configuration, and reporting.
• Integrate endpoint and infrastructure telemetry with SIEM platforms and maintain CIS-aligned baselines, compliance dashboards, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and MSP partners while serving as the senior escalation point.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable technical field, plus 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Hands-on experience operating Microsoft 365 in a GCC High tenant and implementing security controls in regulated environments.
• Enterprise-scale administration of macOS and iOS alongside Windows 11 and Windows Server.
• Strong networking and infrastructure experience across on-premises and cloud environments, including DNS, segmentation, routing, firewalls, and remote access.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.
• Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work and domestic travel.

Nice to have

• AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure experience, including cloud networking and security architecture.
• Linux, Docker, IPsec VPN, PKI, FIPS, IAM, and CI/CD security experience.
• Production Python automation, serverless functions, SCIM integrations, and identity lifecycle management with Okta or Entra.
• Experience with Sentinel or Splunk, CIS benchmarks, FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, and CMMC Levels 2 or 3.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with MSPs.
