What you will do
- Implement and maintain Windows Server hardware and software, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, virtualization, and enterprise applications.
- Maintain global Active Directory environments, including troubleshooting, capacity planning, and continuity planning.
- Design, implement, document, and test backup and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
- Support enterprise architecture through software deployment, server patching, system configuration, and technology lifecycle planning.
- Provide network infrastructure backup support across LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Resolve support requests, participate in on-call rotations, perform occasional after-hours and weekend maintenance, and travel occasionally for business.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a systems administrator managing Windows systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2/2016, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Clustering.
- Strong knowledge of at least one enterprise virtualization platform, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Ability to prioritize projects, tickets, and incidents in a fast-moving organization.
Nice to have
- PowerShell and scripting experience.
- Microsoft or VMware certification.
- Solid networking experience.
- Strong SharePoint skills.
