Software Product Manager (LC/MS)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; remote work option available

Salary: $119,200–$223,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Own the full product lifecycle for LC/MS software and workflow solutions, from concept and business case through launch, optimization, and end-of-life.
• Translate market trends, customer needs, and laboratory workflows into product requirements, roadmaps, feature sets, and prioritized backlogs.
• Define value propositions and release strategies to maximize customer impact and business value.
• Lead collaboration with software development, testing, R&D, marketing, commercial, and adjacent product management teams.
• Support product enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, documentation, training materials, and sales enablement.
• Help evolve the MassHunter software ecosystem and next-generation LC/MS workflow solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in product management, software, or scientific applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of LC/MS workflows, particularly mass spectrometry data analysis.
• Experience managing software products or software-heavy scientific workflows across the product lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release cycles.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, translate customer needs into requirements, and collaborate across global R&D and commercial teams.
