What you will do

• Lead the Solution Architecture practice across the assigned technology portfolio.
• Partner with business, product, engineering, cybersecurity, risk, data, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
• Define solution architectures, implementation roadmaps, transition plans, dependencies, sequencing, and delivery milestones.
• Manage, coach, mentor, and develop approximately nine Solution Architects and associated contract resources.
• Lead architecture for application modernization, Azure and hybrid cloud transformation, AI/GenAI initiatives, and engineering improvements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, maintainable, secure, and aligned with architecture standards, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing highly technical teams.
• Career progression from hands-on software engineering into architecture and leadership roles.
• Experience delivering large-scale modernization and transformation initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and technical translation skills.
• Expertise in solution and application architecture, Azure cloud, hybrid cloud, API and integration architecture, data solutions, DevSecOps, CI/CD, secure design, AI/GenAI, Agile, SAFe, and banking risk frameworks.
