Senior Solution Architect, Finance Systems

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $140,000–$177,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, equity, and company-sponsored benefits.

What you will do

• Define current-state and future-state integration architecture for enterprise finance systems, including governance, security, testing, deployment, and operations standards.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture and design for enterprise platform implementations and cross-platform integrations.
• Design cloud-to-cloud, API, microservices, and file-based integrations using platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead internal, external, and managed-service resources across analysis, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Manage vendor releases, technical impact assessments, risks, budgets, schedules, testing, and production deployments.
• Define AI strategy for financial systems and identify opportunities to improve or replace manual and automated workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, application design and development, or technical delivery, including at least 5 years in a senior or lead architect role.
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite, Coupa, OneStream, Concur, FloQast, and similar enterprise finance SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing cloud-based SaaS architectures and cloud-to-cloud, API, microservices, and SFTP or flat-file integrations.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and experience producing reference and future-state architecture artifacts.
• Experience in regulated industries, preferably biopharma or life sciences, with knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, and SOX.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Workiva, GitLab, Python, JSON, and additional integration tools.
• Previous experience administering enterprise financial systems.
• Knowledge of software validation practices and SOX controls for financial applications.
• Experience operating in a parent-subsidiary matrix organization.
