IT Systems & Automation Manager

Location: Hybrid office and operational environment; occasional travel of up to 25% to operational sites or field locations may be required.

What you will do

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding across identity, email, collaboration, ticketing, and operational systems.
• Provision, deploy, maintain, recover, and inventory laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices, and related equipment.
• Administer enterprise SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Slack, and Atlassian/Jira.
• Develop scripts, dashboards, lightweight internal tools, API integrations, and workflow automations to reduce repetitive work.
• Troubleshoot endpoint, account, application, and operational system issues across distributed sites.
• Support site launches, hardware deployments, vendor coordination, audits, security controls, documentation, and process optimization.

Requirements

• Three years of IT operations experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of experience in a similar role, systems administration, endpoint management, automation, or technical support.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding workflows, enterprise SaaS platforms, hardware provisioning, account administration, and operational IT processes.
• Experience with identity and access management platforms such as JumpCloud, Okta, Azure AD, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, SaaS integrations, workflow automation, and basic scripting or development using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, PHP, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required; occasional equipment lifting of up to 50 pounds and after-hours support may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-growing or multi-site operational environments.
• Experience with endpoint management, asset management, workflow automation, dashboards, internal applications, databases, and systems integrations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, security, compliance, and identity governance processes.
• Google Workspace Administrator, JumpCloud, CompTIA, Microsoft, Jamf, or endpoint management certifications.
